With the student
Individual sessions to work on emotional wellbeing, independence, motivation and study habits, as well as communication and relationships with peers.
Support for the student’s emotional wellbeing, independence and relationships, in coordination with the family and school. This includes monitoring the Individualised Plan (PI) when needed.
During ESO and Bachillerato, academic demands, daily organisation and monitoring of adjustments or Individualised Plans (PI) often create family tensions.
When conversations at home revolve mainly around deadlines, grades or a lack of motivation, parents can end up feeling like “school police”. Support aims to help the student become more independent and make room for a calmer family relationship beyond schoolwork.
As a registered clinical and educational psychologist, I take a neutral, mediating role to support the student and coordinate help from the family and school:
Individual sessions to work on emotional wellbeing, independence, motivation and study habits, as well as communication and relationships with peers.
Regular, direct contact to monitor the student's Individualised Plan (PI), adapt objectives and coordinate strategies.
Clear, regular feedback to keep you informed of progress and help you return to your role as supportive parents at home.
